Past: As a child, her mother was always around while her father worked hard for a local gaming company that didn't have much reviews. He was always working, so Charleen spent time with her mother. Their relationship wasn't one to last though. Having enough of not seeing her husband, Charleen's mother left during the night leaving a note saying that this wasn't the life she wanted to live. There was no apology to Charleen, so Charleen felt like her world was crashing into millions of pieces. Her father was unsure on how to raise his child, so he could only do what he could do. He introduced her to video games as he transferred over to work for Nintendo in Japan. Charleen moved with him and lived there for a bit until seventh grade. Her father decided for her to go back to France and attend Kadic Academy since it was a plan between him and his former wife to have her study there. During her first year at Kadic Academy, she made no friends. This was when she became involved in the Pokemon community. She made a name for herself and became popular among male and female players. A guy under the name 'theverybest85' confessed his feelings to her and they started to go out online. It was pretty big for the Pokemon community when they all found out. There were supporters and those who wanted them to break up. When they met in person, they drifted more to best friends than a couple. The following year, Charleen would get visits from him when he finished up his classes at a local high school now that he was a freshman. Three weeks after Charleen got out of a relationship, Herb and Nicholas came to her attention and gave her a nickname she finds stupid. They continue to bother her up to this day, but Charleen doesn't talk with them making them live in their own fantasy. Due to their constant visits to her, Sissy hates Charleen.

Attitude: Charleen ignores most people at school since either playing Pokemon or doing homework. Those who don't know her see her as a gentle soul and innocent which is why Herb and Nicholas have this massive crush on her. With Thomas, she has a lively look in her eyes since they both share the love of Pokemon.
Flaws: Plays Pokemon too much for her own good, doesn't chat with other students unless needed to, not being in touch with the life that it's around her (reality, not the internet or Lyoko)
Strengths: Always has her own plan, never leaves a friend behind, makes sure everyone is in good health

Other: She's ambidextrous (can write with both hands). She doesn't usually fight with the group in Lyoko since she isn't sure if she can trust them. Charleen doesn't pay attention where she's going when playing Pokemon. One day, she was playing Pokemon and ended up at the factory which led her to discovering Lyoko, but never told anyone. Charleen has another way of getting to Lyoko after discovering another set of pods hidden in the factory that is operated from inside the pod which is rather risky if she gets erased or something along those lines. When she doesn't feel like playing Pokemon, Charleen listens to people reading CreepyPasta.
