Around fifteen, Rina dyed her hair to jet black only with a blue tint, so not much has changed with her hair.

As a child, she was pretty much shorter than everyone. She was only a foot taller than T.K. and Kairi then. As a teenager, she's grown and is now the average height for a girl her age which is around Sora's height.

Weight: 

Average weight, but it's never noticeable with the boy clothing she wears. No one really notices how average she is until her teen years, so she appears to be skinny as a child.

Clothing Style: 

As a child, Rina was always trying to be the tough one. She wore loose vests over white collared shirts or just a plain white shirt with baggy shorts or cargo shorts. Never was she seen with flip flops. As she grows older, Rina becomes more feminine with her attire by wearing skirts every now and then along with flip flops. As a teen, she mostly wears blouses.

Personality: 

Stubborn and persistent are two words that could describe Rina at first glance. She's always sticking out for her twin brother when others pick on him for being the weaker one. Family is what she holds dear to her heart and will not tolerate others who bash on them. Rina never backs down from a challenge and believes that she's up to par with the boys her age and won't stop until she proves her point. Once gaining her trust, she fully believes in her friends and puts her full faith in them with their actions, but if she sees that it's wrong and harms others, Rina will step in to stop them.

Fears: 

Memory Loss is her ultimate fear. It's something she has to watch happen to her dear twin brother and doesn't want that to happen to her as well. To forget everyone she loves and cares for is scary and to not remember important memories just brings chills to her.

Talents: 

Painting, it's not what one would think. She doesn't grab a canvas and creates a picture. No, Rina takes colorless objects and colors them with paint. What she sees when she paints isn't her goal. She wants others to see what they wish to see in what she makes on objects.

Basketball, Rina has been playing it since she was five. Her father signed her up for lessons and got on a small team after a year. Even after her team had disbanded, Rina still plays a few games with local kids who are looking for a challenge or guys who don't believe she can play basketball.

Sucks At: 

Being creative is a problem. Ironic since she paints and does pottery. Coming up with what to make or paint usually takes her longer than others and has gone as long as a week before she comes up with an idea. This is why she was never in art class. Socializing with other people besides family and friends she's already made can cause problems for anyone! Rina, though, just can't find a way to strike up a conversation with anyone, but her brother. In result, she'll stare down at people until they start the conversation.

Background: 

While both of her parents were traveling in Thailand, both Rina and Rintarou were born only being five minutes apart and Rina being the youngest. As the two grew up, they were always by each other's side. With them inseparable, it made it difficult to tell the two apart since they both had short hair.

As they grew older, Rintarou became ill and was bed written. He couldn't go to school like his sister Rina, so she would come home and teach him what she had learned. In 1995, both were staying up late at night telling stories when Greymon first appeared. Sadly, only Rina could see it due to Rintarou not being able to get out of bed. Not wanting him to be left out, she described what she saw at her best. A few months down the road, her parents started to fight which led to their father leaving one night without saying a single word. Rintarou didn't take it too well and caused him great stress. That stress became a trigger to causing him to go into a coma. Rina sat by his side and ignored other kids until her brother woke up. Not wanting her child to be anti-social, Rina was sent to summer camp. It was there that she started to talk to others along with meeting digimon, but kept it in secret until her brother woke up from his coma.

Between the two seasons, Rintarou had awoken from his coma placing relief in the household. Rina was about to tell him everything when it became clear. Her twin brother couldn't remember his own family or even himself. Doctors had said that it was caused either from stress or the coma he recently had. Rina became anti-social again in order to help her twin brother to remember. During one of their conversations, Rintarou had told Rina to grow out her hair. She no longer had to keep up the tough look for him. He wanted her to be more of a girl and hopefully cause less stress on their mother. Only wanting best for him, she followed his request and made the transition of a tomboy to somewhat of a girl.
